TX Guide Leather is the leather version of TX Guide, the most technical shoe in the TX Series La Sportiva line. Perfect combination of split leather, suede for greater adaptability and nubuck, for abrasion resistance, is dedicated to technical approaches and climbing. It was created for alpine guides and mountain operators looking for a high-performance, long-lasting product with a climbing-oriented look & feel. Versatile, light and protective, it is perfect for walk-run & climb approaches with technical solutions and aesthetic features derived from climbing shoes: asymmetrical and advanced lacing, anti-rubbing loops at the toe and “overlap” tongue for maximum foot wrapping. The wraparound Adaptable Fit shape for maximum performance at the same time allows excellent adaptability to all types of feet thanks to the elasticity of the skin. It is very established at the tip and allows you to maintain the edge when climbing. The Climbing-inspired protective edge is made of lightweight PU-TECH Lite material.The sole / midsole package is made with a double compression EVA cushioning on the heel and stabilizing on the forefoot: the front of the midsole is co-printed with a layer in TPU that acts at the same time as a stabilizer of the climbing zone, medial shank and rock-guard layer on the forefoot. The Vibram MegaGrip and Idrogrip dual compound sole is the perfect combination of grip and durability while the pronounced heel facilitates downhill braking and provides greater grip uphill.
