Arc’teryx design for use in real alpine conditions. Exceptionally versatile, durable and warm, the Thorium AR Hoody acts as an intermediate layer for the cold and as a standalone garment. The regular fit of the Thorium is aerodynamic and is easily worn under a hard shell in cold conditions. The Lofty 750 Filled European Gray Goose Down offers incredible warmth with a low weight, is durable and folds up easily. The exterior is updated with durable and lightly textured Arato ™ 30 nylon. This lightweight material resists abrasion, packs compactly and has a DWR finish to repel moisture. Arc’teryx Down Composite Mapping technology combines goose down insulation with Coreloft ™ synthetic insulation panels in the hood, cuffs and underarms, areas prone to moisture. The down jacket is used in the sleeves and around the core of the body.
